At Encore, we take consignments seasonally. And while that might sound self-explanatory, we wanted to clarify things and layout our seasons for y'all!

FORMALS

We have three formal seasons: Prom/Pageant, Mother-of-the-Bride, and Holiday.

Prom/Pageant begins mid December and ends in March. During this season we take glitzy and glamorous gowns that are more aimed towards teens!

Mother-of-the-Bride begins in May and ends mid July. This is where we take more conservative and mature formals, typically those that could be worn by mothers/grandmothers of weddings.

Our holiday formal season only lasts through-out November. These formals are gonna be darker, with heavier materials (like velvet) and in those deep, jewel-toned holiday colors we all love (emerald green, ruby red, deep sapphire, gold, etc.).

*** We DO NOT take bridal, bridesmaid, or homecoming formals! Formals must also be in style! ***

REGULAR CLOTHING

We start the year out in January with our Winter-Spring transitional season. Think lighter sweaters, bright colors, and lots of florals. Basically, things you can wear as winter transitions into spring!

In February we switch to our full spring season and this lasts through March. At this point we've stopped taking heavy pieces like sweaters and boots, and are more so looking for those light, flowy pieces. Also looking more for light/bright colors and florals! (IF YOU HAVE MASTERS TOURNAMENT MERCH, THIS IS THE BEST TIME TO CONSIGN IT!)

Then from April through August we take summer consignments! During this season we move away from the pastels and florals and are looking more for the bolder colors and designs. This is also when we take shorts and sandals!

September through Mid October we switch into our Light Fall season. Here, we start to take longer sleeves, light sweaters and darker colors. Booties and cardigans but nothing too heavy just yet!

Can you believe July is already over? Neither can we! But anyways, here's some updates for August:

  • We will be taking summer consignments until AUGUST 22ND! August 23rd through August 30th we WILL NOT be accepting ANY consignments. This will allow us to process the remaining summer inventory and get it out onto the sales floor.

  • Starting in September, we will switch over to LIGHT FALL. So, bring things in that would be appropriate if there was a slight chill in the air (longer sleeves, light cardigans, darker colors, etc.).

  • We are not accepting any formals at this time!

  • Just another friendly reminder, that when you bring SHOES for consignment, they MUST ABSOLUTELY BE WITHOUT STAINS, DUST, PEELING, OR ANY OTHER FORM OF DAMAGE!!! In other words, they be in LIKE NEW CONDITION. This goes for ALL CONSIGNMENTS but most importantly SHOES!!!!!!!!!

  • Similarly, please, please, please, with a cherry on top, make sure that your clothing items are CLEAN, SEASON-APPROPRIATE, and HIGH-END/BETTER LABEL.

THANKS!💕

Management.
